Ha, Soonhoi's Biographical Sketch


Soonhoi Ha received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronics engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 1985 and 1987, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, CA, USA, in 1992. He is currently a Professor with Seoul National University. His current research interests include HW/SW codesign of embedded systems, embedded machine learning, and IoT. Prof. Ha has actively participated in the premier international conferences in the EDA area, for instance serving CODES+ISSS 2006, ASPDAC 2008 as the program co-chair and ESWeek 2018 as the general chair. He is an IEEE fellow and a member of ACM. (He has worked on the Ptolemy project and the PeaCE (development of a HW/SW codesign environment) project, and is now leading the HOPES (development of an embedded S/W design environment for MPSoC) project.)
